Medical Center is a certified Level I trauma center in the greater Houston area! The hospital provides 24-hour emergency and trauma care to more than 40,000 patients a year.

Unit: General Med Surg (5 Cullen)

Day (7am – 7pm) and Night (7pm – 7am) Shifts Available

Shift: Three, 12-hour shifts

Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:5-6

Beds: 15

Unit Description

Our unit caters to variety of patient populations with different medical diagnosis and conditions. We also cater to COVID patients. You will experience the full scope of nursing here! Ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of RN experience. Preferably in Skilled Nursing, rehab or acute care but open to other areas. BSN preferred, will consider ADN candidates willing to enroll in a BSN program.

Unit: Medicine Teaching (3 Cullen)

Day (7am – 7pm) and Night (7pm – 7am) Shifts Available

Shift: Three, 12-hour shifts

Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:4-5

Beds: 39 Med Surg, 6 IMU

Unit Description

Med Surg Tele unit that includes 39 med surg beds and 6 IMU beds all in one unit! This is also a teaching unit where you can experience the full scope of nursing.

Our patient population will also see surgical, cardiac, and COVID patients. This is a higher acuity med surg unit with a 1:4-5 ratio. Ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of acute care/rehab/skilled nursing experience. BSN preferred, will consider ADN candidates willing to enroll in a BSN

This unit also offers:

Flexible, self-scheduling options ( on call requirement every 12 weeks)

Perfect for candidates wanting to get experience in IMU

SALARY MINIMUM: $65,000

SALARY MAXIMUM: $110,000

BONUS DESCRIPTION: $10K – $12K Sign-On Bonus, Relocation up to $5K
