We are a national consulting group seeking a talented Site Civil Engineer II to join our team in the Wilmington, DE Office.
Work with an award-winning team providing technical and design support to a variety of high-profile projects under the direction of talented project managers within multi-disciplinary teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist Project Managers with technical, and civil engineering design or provide Project Management
Perform technical engineering work associated with land development and/or water resources:
1. stormwater management design
2. site grading
3. erosion and sediment control design
4. prepare plans for agency/municipal review
5. completion of various land development and environmental permitting applications
6. attend meetings with municipal officials, engineers, developers, and contractors.
Candidate should be a critical thinker, be willing to learn through trial and error, be self-motivated and willing to put the full effort towards the task at hand
Candidate should have a strong desire to grow and advance as an engineer or technical designer
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or associate degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited institution and 2 or more years of experience in land development civil-site engineering
EIT or PE Preferred
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D a plus
Familiarity with HydroCAD or other stormwater modeling software
Knowledge of green infrastructure practices, such as bioretention systems, permeable pavement, infiltration systems, and green roofs
Familiarity with ArcGIS software a plus
Strong written and oral communication skills
Must be a US citizen or permanent resident to be considered
